Agency: small but perfectly-formed.
We represent a small selection of quality producers, mostly in the new world. They include the award-winning Parker Coonawarra Estate, St John's Road and Hesketh Wine Company, with Phil Lehmann at the helm; and, from New Zealand, te Pa Estate on the Wairau Bar, a relative newcomer already making a big stir in competitions around the globe. We supply from UK-based stocks at London City Bond, as well as ex-cellar for larger orders.
During a fleeting half century in the global wine community, the Hesketh family has always followed the path less travelled by. It is appropriate therefore, that the Hesketh house style combines the traditional elements of vineyard selection and hands on winemaking, with a contemporary approach to the wines made.
“Follow your own path. Eat well. Drink well.”
For over a quarter of a century, Parker Estate has achieved numerous wine show medals, trophies and accolades, including a Five Star rating by James Halliday, Langton’s Classification V for Excellence, and many high rating reviews by major wine media both within Australia and internationally.
Located in South Australia’s Barossa Valley, St. John's Road takes its inspiration from the fascinating characters, history and stories of this great wine region. Authentic, hand-crafted winemaking, showcasing stylish Barossa Valley reds and pure Eden Valley Whites.
"Cuisine" magazine's choice for top NZ Sauvignon Blanc in its inaugural vintage, Haysley MacDonald's te Pa has been scooping press inches and awards aplenty in its first few years of operation. Proudly family-owned, its homestead and many of its vineyards lie on the Wairau Bar itself - the family's home for 800 years. te Pa is an authentic, delicious taste of the real Marlborough.
A first for the Cape, and the world. The Township Winery is a pioneering project bringing opportunity and pride to the impoverished women of the Townships of the Cape Flats. As part of much-needed urban regeneration, a new boutique winery is being developed in the place where few "wine tourists" care to go. The wines, like their surroundings, are characterful and vibrant. "The Flats", available ex-UK stocks, are TW's new Fairtrade entry-level wines.
